Mini’s is a newly built labour of love located in the hub of Kilnamona, Co. Clare. Mini’s Preschool & Afterschool Club opened in September 2014 by Caroline Rodgers and has since grown from strength to strength. We opened our newly built space on our own private half acre site in May 2019.
Mini’s Mission for Preschool is to offer exceptional early childhood educational experiences and to guide each child’s individual holistic development.
In our Pre-School we focus on process lead learning and the emergent interests of all children. Our positive cultivating space fosters open-ended play/work, Team Work, independence, imagination, ingenuity and vision. We believe every child should have positive experiences whilst also being celebrated and supported to become competent and confident learners.
Throughout our academic year we also offer drama, music sessions, creative arts, yoga sessions, movement, baking and daily outdoor learning.
Mini’s is registered with TUSLA, The Department of Children and Youth Affairs and Pobal. Our Preschool Ratios are 1:11. We strive to stand apart as we ensure that all children are seen as individuals, are heard and are afforded shared control of Mini’s.
