Established in 2014 by Caroline Rodgers, Mini’s Pre-school and Afterschool opened it’s brand new facility in May 2019. Conveniently located a stone’s throw away from Kilnamona National School, Mini’s comprises of a Pre-school and Afterschool, catering for children from pre-school age up to sixth class.
We focus on process lead learning and the emergent interests of all children. Our positive cultivating space fosters open-ended play/work, Team Work, independence, imagination, ingenuity and vision. We believe every child should have positive experiences whilst also being celebrated and supported to become competent and confident learners.
The Mini’s Way…
Throughout our academic year we also offer drama, music sessions, creative arts, yoga sessions, movement, baking and daily outdoor learning.
Mini’s is registered with TUSLA, The Department of Children and Youth Affairs and Pobal. Our Preschool Ratios are 1:11. We strive to stand apart as we ensure that all children are seen as individuals, are heard and are afforded shared control of Mini’s.
