The wellness and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything we do at Mini’s.

Caroline is Mini’s full-time Pre-School teacher and has diligently dedicated herself to the study of children for 8 years at third level. In addition to this, she also engages in CPD on a continual basis. Due to these comprehensive studies, Mini’s proudly holds the qualifications to deliver the following Early Educational Approaches.

Mini’s Well-Being & Wellness Approach

During our 1:1 meeting with parents we will detail what well-being and wellness looks like at Mini’s and how we deliver these crucial elements within our overall curriculum.

All of our Educational Approaches at Mini’s partner closely with Aistear and Síolta.

Aistear is the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework for children up to six years in Ireland. Aistear continues from Pre-School to Primary School through Junior and Senior Infants. The Aistear framework consists of four interconnected themes – Well-Being, Identity and Belonging, Communicating and Exploring and Thinking - to describe the content of children’s learning and development. Aistear explores skills, knowledge, dispositions, values, attitudes, and understanding – all of which are vital elements of every child’s education.

Síolta is the national quality framework for early childhood education in Ireland. Síolta consists of 12 principles,
16 Quality standards and 75 components.
